We streamline our process into five simple steps:
1.Contact us
We make it easy for you to reach us. You can call us directly at 212-520-8350 or click on the Contact navigation button on the top. We will discuss your situation and be happy to answer any questions that you may have in regard in planning your trip to Ukraine.
2. Information gathering
Once we know the condition for which you are seeking treatment, we will mail you an information file containing documents specifically pertaining to your condition. It will also include an estimate for the total cost of your treatment and services. The file will also include important forms which need to be completed, signed, and sent back to us along with your medical records. Once we receive this information from you, we will process them and safely transfer them to the EmCell Center in Ukraine. Rest assured your privacy is fully protected and respected.
3. Planning your trip
Once your situation is fully evaluated by the medical panel at EmCell Center, their recommendations will be provided to you. If it is determined by doctors at EmCell Center that your conditions can be treated by Embryonic Stem Cell treatment protocol, we can now plan you entire trip. We will determine your exact travel dates and treatment dates. World Wellness Group will help you and your companion with visa, book air travel as well as accommodations, and will set up your entire trip package from beginning to end. After you have reviewed and decided upon all your accommodations, we will confirm your reservation. We will provide you with a detailed itinerary and destination information. At that time a deposit is required for your medical treatment as well as for your accommodations.
4. Travel to Ukraine
We will assign a local representative to be your personal coordinator in Kiev. He/she will meet you at the airport; accompany you to your hotel as well as to the EmCell Center. Additionally he/she can coordinate any special requests such as dinner reservations, opera tickets or any other requests you may have during your stay.
5. Travel home
Your personal coordinator will accompany you to the airport. World Wellness Group will follow up on your treatment and return your medical records to your doctor.
Stem Cell in Ukraine
Why stem cells? Why Ukraine?
Stem cell research was born out of tragedy.
In 1986, the largest nuclear accident in history took place in Chernobyl, Ukraine. In its wake, the people of Ukraine began to suffer from an unprecedented surge of physical and health issues, many of which had no known effective cure or treatment at the time.
To address this concern, the Soviet government set out to fund and invest millions of dollars into research not only to handle the increased volume of health-related issues, but also for the treatment of the variety and severity of physical conditions that had arisen as well. Initially, most of the available research centered on the reparation and generation of new blood cells.
By 1991, the Ukrainian Health Ministry passed a law to authorize the use of clinical research and treatment using embryonic stem cells. This research held new promise because it resulted in more than regeneration of blood cells. Stem cells contain unique properties for more specific applications, creating the hope of treating a wealth of previously untreatable conditions.
Three categories proved particularly effective. The first of these involved cells from the skin, brain and hair; another from blood, bone and muscle tissue, and a third from internal organs such as liver, pancreas and lungs. Each of these stem cell categories presented research opportunities for the discovery of treatments for a wide range of physical disabilities and illnesses.
In 1994, the Embryonic Stem Cell Research and Treatment Center of National Medical University ( EmCell) was established in Kiev, Ukraine. EmCelluses the advantages presented by the unique properties of embryonic stem cells over the adult or synthetically developed cells traditionally used in the West.
Since that time, EmCell has treated more than 6,000 individuals and received numerous patents recognized the world over. Today Ukraine is the recognized leader in embryonic stem cell research and treatment.
